Embedded Rust Engineer

Anori Tech is hiring its first engineering employee — an Embedded Rust Engineer to own the no_std firmware and work directly with the CTO on implementation through certification. Hamburg hybrid. Posted today on HN July 2026.

Responsibilities

  • - Own embedded (no_std) Rust firmware for a software-defined Battery Management System
  • - Work directly with the CTO on implementation from prototype through safety certification
  • - Build with a testing/quality mindset — CI/CD, HiL, and coverage as everyday tools
  • - Contribute to hardware integration and firmware architecture decisions
  • - Collaborate on the configuration frontend (instant BMS quote platform)

Requirements

  • - 1+ year no_std production Rust in embedded environments
  • - Strong testing and quality mindset (CI/CD, HiL, coverage)
  • - Bonus: async Rust, ARM/RISC-V tracing, CAN/LIN/BLE/LTE, safety-critical (IEC 61508 / ISO 26262)
  • - Based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany (hybrid)
