Infrastructure Engineer / Sysadmin
Partner with IVPN's senior infrastructure engineer and own day-to-day infra: rolling out a new immutable, diskless, bare-metal VPN gateway fleet, improving DNS routing, and automating everything automatable. Fully remote (UTC-1 to UTC+3 only), high autonomy, maximum freedom, minimum meetings.
Responsibilities
- - Roll out a new immutable, diskless, bare-metal VPN gateway fleet
- - Improve DNS routing and automation across IVPN and modDNS
- - Manage production Linux infrastructure including bare-metal servers
- - Apply config management (Ansible, Puppet, or Salt) across the fleet
- - Script automation in Python, Go, or Bash
- - Implement infosec best practices: public-key crypto, TPM, reproducible builds

- - Solid TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS fundamentals
