Senior Engineer — Compliance Operations Software (Part-Time)
We're hiring a Senior Engineer for a part-time engagement to help build compliance operations software for regulated industries. This confidential role, sourced via Arc, is open to candidates in the US, EU, or UK. You'll work across a modern TypeScript/Next.js/Node.js stack with a Postgres database and AWS infrastructure, building tools that help compliance teams operate efficiently and stay audit-ready.
Responsibilities
- - Build features for compliance operations tooling using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js
- - Design and maintain Postgres data models
- - Operate AWS infrastructure supporting the application
- - Collaborate with the team asynchronously given the part-time engagement
- - Ensure code quality and security given the sensitive, regulated nature of the domain

Requirements
- - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- - Strong TypeScript, React, and Next.js skills
- - Experience with Node.js backend development
- - Experience with Postgres and AWS

- - Interest or experience in compliance, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus
