Python Developer (Mid / Senior)
Oxidian is hiring mid and senior Python Developers to build high-performance data systems powering government scientific research. You will work on petabyte-scale Earth Observation and satellite datasets, building clean interfaces for complex scientific data and modern DevOps pipelines that automate research workflows. EU only, fully remote, no bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
- - Build and maintain high-performance Python services processing petabyte-scale Earth Observation and satellite datasets
- - Design clean web UIs for complex scientific data visualisation and analysis
- - Build and automate DevOps pipelines to streamline scientific workflows
- - Work directly with scientists and researchers as primary users
- - Ensure data processing performance at scale using Python best practices
- - Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling

- - 3+ years of Python development experience
