Senior Software Engineer (Backend / Golang)
Cast AI is hiring Senior Software Engineers across multiple product teams. You will build key features across areas including Reporting (time-series databases, millions of rows/sec), Autoscaler (Kubernetes node autoscaling), Pricing (cloud resource synchronisation), and Platform (internal engineering foundations). Stack: GoLang, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, PostgreSQL, GCP Pub/Sub, gRPC.
Responsibilities
- - Build and maintain scalable backend services in GoLang for Kubernetes automation and cloud cost optimisation
- - Work across product teams: Reporting, Autoscaler, Pricing, Platform, or Billy (billing/alerts/audit)
- - Design distributed systems that process millions of events and handle multi-cloud infrastructure
- - Optimize for performance, reliability, and cost at Kubernetes scale
- - Participate in fast-paced feature development (most projects completed in 1-4 weeks)
- - Spend 10% of work time on personal projects or self-improvement
