Head of AI – Computer Vision / MLOps
Clutch is hiring a Head of AI to own the full Computer Vision and MLOps stack powering their automated padel videographer. This is a key leadership hire at a fast-growing sports tech startup — you'll shape the direction of AI across the product, from on-device model deployment to dataset design, evaluation pipelines, and training infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- - Lead deployment of Computer Vision models to production across 100+ camera-equipped clubs worldwide
- - Design and maintain MLOps infrastructure: dataset creation, annotation pipelines, model versioning, continuous evaluation, and training/testing
- - Own video understanding models for automated camera direction, highlight detection, and player coaching
- - Implement on-device model deployment for edge compute in camera hardware
- - Collaborate directly with CTO and engineering team to ship AI features to production
- - Define AI roadmap and mentor future AI team members

Requirements
- - 5+ years of experience deploying AI models to production
- - Strong hands-on experience with Computer Vision models and video understanding
- - Proficiency in MLOps: dataset and annotation design, model versioning, continuous evaluation, training and testing
- - Experience working with on-device model deployment is a strong plus
- - Python proficiency and comfort across the full ML engineering stack
- - Startup mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
