ML Engineer – Software Engineering (Remote EU)
Synthesia is hiring ML Engineers across its Software Engineering discipline for fully remote roles across Europe. The ML engineering track focuses on building, deploying, and scaling the machine learning systems powering Synthesia's AI video platform — from model inference infrastructure to ML pipelines, platform engineering, and production ML systems used by 90%+ of the Fortune 100.
Responsibilities
- - Build, deploy, and scale ML systems powering Synthesia's AI video generation platform
- - Design and maintain ML infrastructure: model inference, training pipelines, feature stores, and model versioning
- - Collaborate with Applied Research and Product teams to bring cutting-edge video generation models to production
- - Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of ML systems serving 60,000+ businesses
- - Contribute to MLOps practices, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks
- - Work across full-stack, platform, infra, and ML engineering tracks depending on team placement

Requirements
- - 3+ years of ML engineering or software engineering experience with ML systems
- - Strong Python and ML infrastructure skills
- - Experience with production ML systems, model serving, or ML pipelines at scale
- - Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred)
- - Located in an eligible European country: DE, UK, CH, ES, IE, SI, DK, CZ, or BE
- - Strong English communication skills
